Chinese Internet products have less innovation and too much imitation.
Innovation is the soul of a nation’s progression. ForInternet industry, innovation is the most important part of a product. And thespeed of innovation is amazing for Internet products. An innovative idea ismore valuable than much professional computer codes. But Chinese Internetproducts lack innovation. They often copy others’ idea and get benefits atChinese market. In this article, I would analysed the problem in myopinions, Chinese product have less innovation and too much imitation. Innovation is valuable and powerful. At the same time,it’s also difficult and risky. When you create a new thing, there are muchunpredictable trouble will appear. You must make preparations to greet thefailure in any time. Social Network websites is the most popular productsin our Elife nowdays. It connect all people around us. Facebook, Twitter andTumblr, they are the most popular SNS websites. All of them have over a 100millions of users. Before them, many companies are attracted by SNS, but theresults were painful. I knew that Tencent developed a new product, named QQwall of love. It was SNS product, and many people knew it, but its number ofusers was small. I didn’t know the reason for its failure. I only saw a newproduct was died so quickly, innovation is really difficult. For Chinese Internet industry, the most challenge islack of experiences and experts. Chinese Internet industry was appeared at 10years ago. It was too later than Americaand Europe. The biggest Chinese companyTencent just has a history of 13 years. They have little experiences andtechnologies to support studying new products. And Chinese traditionaleducation is not the open type. In Chinese primary school, students have longstudy time and much homework. At that forgetive age, they couldn’t find anddevelop their interests. It’s a big tragedy. The type of Chinese educationrestrict the normal development of Chinese child seriously. Suffer this effect,many Chinese is lack of innovative and creative thinking. There are many good Internet products in the US. They aresuccessful examples for Chinese Internet companies to copy. Such as MSN, Yahoo,Facebook and so on. American Internet team and companies spent several years onthose product, made them better one step by one step. In China, sharp-eyed people inInternet companies saw American success, they copied and put the new product inChinese at Chinese market. Finally, they got much benefits without risk. That’sactuality in China.We are used to copying others instead innovating by self. In my position, Chinese Internet companies should paymore attentions to improving their technology. Chinese government should makesome changes of Chinese educational system, give enough time to child to learnwhat they want to learn. I believe things will go well.
